Wider, more grip and stronger these pedals have it all. These pedals start off a lot wider than the original pedals with a light weight plastic mixture designed to take a beating. They have slightly more concave to make your foot slide to the center of the pedal and are much thinner to create more stability. The 12 pins are spread out perfectly to grips your shoes but there is no center pin to split your shin. They have multiple uprights on the body to make them super stiff but extra light. The body sits on a unsealed bearings to keep the cost down but have a super heavy duty chromoly spindle to take heavy drops and grinds. A: When you are sitting on the bike looking down, the pedal on the right side of your bike has regular tread that turn clockwise to tighten the pedal and counter clockwise to loosen the pedal.
      If you want loosen the left pedal you have to understand it is reverse thread. To tighten the pedal you want to turn the wrench counter clockwise. If you want to loosen the pedal you need to turn the wrench clockwise.
